This Project Management Industrial Placement is expected to begin in early September 2027 and offers a starting salary of 26,050, with the opportunity to work at the Hinkley Point C construction site and Satellite Delivery Centre in Bridgwater.
During this 12-month placement, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll develop valuable leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills while contributing to a business that is driving the transition towards An Electric Britain.
You'll be based at the #Bridgwater Hinkley Point C construction site (transport to the Hinkley Point C site is provided from several collection points) or Satellite Delivery Centre, where you'll be part of a team driving progress on one of the UK's most significant energy projects.
As this is an on-site placement, you'll gain regular exposure to live project environments, working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders across the Hinkley Point C programme.
To be eligible for this EDF Industrial Placement, you need to be studying towards, or have already achieved, a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Project, Construction, or Structural management, or a closely related discipline. You'll have an interest in project delivery, infrastructure and the future of low-carbon energy.
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
Alongside a starting salary of 26,050 per annum and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
