A leading engineering firm in Glasgow is seeking a Project Lead Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee key projects in a major defence infrastructure programme. The role offers a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days in the office and occasional site visits. Candidates should have strong knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and experience in regulated environments. SC Clearance will be required for this position.

The Project Lead Engineer will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a key package of work as part of a major defence infrastructure programme in Scotland.
You will oversee the development of requirements, technical scope, desktop studies, and assurance activities, ensuring the successful design and implementation of works by consultants and contractors. This includes the replacement/refurbishment of existing structures, plant, and equipment to meet modern standards and regulations.
Degree qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre. Occasional site visits will be required.
