Job description

We are looking for a Project Finance Assistant to join our Global Financial Services (GFS) organization at Inizio. This role supports the financial operations of the business, with a particular focus on Order to Cash related activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career to gain hands‑on experience within a global organization. You’ll contribute to accurate client billing, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.

Based out of either our Manchester, UK or Yardley, US office and operating on a hybrid basis, the position reports to Project Finance leadership (Supervisor or Team Lead).

Key Responsibilities

• Process Support: support process transitions and knowledge transfer across teams, contributing to documentation and scalable practices.
• Project Finance Operations: maintain and update project systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Execute operation activities such as processing revenue funding, update project actuals, and close out projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Order to Cash process and respond to queries.
• Compliance & Controls: support adherence to SLAs, finance policies, and internal controls including SOX compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: contribute to process enhancements by identifying simplification opportunities and supporting automation initiatives.
• Team Culture: contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
• Other: perform other duties as required.

What You Bring to the Role

• Experience: 1 year in finance, accounting, or audit, may include related internships.

• Systems: skilled in Excel, finance systems, and billing tools. Oracle and AI tools experience is a plus.
