A leading recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Project Estimator to support the project delivery team in Grand Cayman. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing project documents, and sourcing competitive pricing. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree relevant to construction and 5-10 years of estimating experience. Relocation and work permit facilitation are included, with an attractive income tax-free salary of around £105,000 equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience with a large contractor or PQS firm preferred.
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles, cost planning, and procurement processes.

Project Estimator – Cayman Islands | Relocation + Work Permit Provided

CI$110,000 per year (around £105,000 gross equivalent in the UK), INCOME TAX FREE!

This position is based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and is open to overseas candidates looking to relocate. The company will provide relocation support and work permit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Estimator to join our Client's project delivery team. Responsible for evaluating costs, developing accurate estimates, and providing insights that help guide project planning and execution.

Duties:
  • Prepare cost estimates for projects at various design stages, from initial feasibility studies to detailed tender submissions.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements and potential cost risks.
  • Develop Bills of Quantities and cost plans aligned with design and construction information.
  • Source and analyse pricing for materials, labour, and equipment; maintain current cost databases.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to verify pricing and ensure bid competitiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure estimating processes comply with internal standards and industry best practices.
Requirements:
