Qualifications

  • Provide technical support for operating systems and 3rd party software.
  • Handle customer requests and incidents through a ticket lifecycle.

Project Engineer Support Analyst

My fantastic client who have offices across 5 countries across the globe are currently looking for a solid Project Engineer Support Analyst to join there Bristol office on a permanent basis.

The role carries responsibility for supporting our maritime systems and IT Infrastructure including complex fault diagnosis.

Working in the Operations department, the main responsibilities and tasks will include:
  • Patch management testing of our proprietary and dependant 3rd party software against the latest OS (MS Windows, Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux) critical, non-critical and security patches
  • Managing the deployment of OS patches/packs
  • Management of customer requests and incidents throughout ticket lifecycle by providing 1st and 2nd Level technical troubleshooting
  • Provision of technical support for operating systems (MS Windows & Linux), RDBS (primarily SQL Server), 3rd party software (primarily VMware), proprietary software and networks (LAN/WAN)
  • Remote resolution of Incidents/Events/Problems logged in our CRM ticketing tool so that service levels are not breached
  • Ensure quality information is entered into our CRM ticketing tool
  • Conduct preventative and rectification maintenance at customer locations
  • Production of reports and necessary documentation for administration and invoicing purposes
Qualifications
  • Windows Server MCSA - 2019 R2 onwards
  • ITIL Foundation
  • CCNA
  • Azure Admin Associate.
Experience

  • Preferable; UK Security Check (SC) clearance, Fortinet - VPN Management, Containerisation (Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes), Storage and Cloud Computing - Azure or AWS.

This is a permanent role based in the Bristol office 5 days per week, the client is willing to be flexible with working hours, i.e. starting early and finishing early. It is paying a salary of £32-40k per annum, depending on experience, and offers fantastic opportunities of further progression and growth within the business.
