About The Role

To undertake the operational engineering of all project activities, assisting with planning and resourcing of direct and subcontract labour, ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to. Production and review of RAMS & SSOW documents. Review of design documents. Produce bill of quantities and selection and procurement of equipment and materials and arranging delivery to site.

As a Project Engineer you will… Delivery of projects on HV & LV Electrical Distribution networks, including but not limited to LV/HV Electrical Distribution assets, Containment, HV cable installation, minor civils works, switchgear/transformer refurbishments, HV cable fault rectifications etc, including review and agreeing outage requirements with the client, planning resources and ensuring all RAMS and SSOW documents are prepared ahead of the works.

About You

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation.
• Detailed understanding of current HV/ LV electrical installation techniques.
• Good knowledge of HV & LV switchgear, transformers and power assets in Electrical Distribution networks.
• Solid and up to date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment.
• Previous experience working in the High Voltage industry
