iO are partnered with a leading construction and engineering contractor who are scaling up their operations. You would be working on HVAC and specialist ventilation systems for safety-critical construction projects (defence, nuclear & transport)

The successful Project Engineer will be responsible ensuring customer and legislative requirements are in line with timescales, cost, quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans, schedules and milestones, aligning with design engineers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Validate HVAC designs and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor installation activities and conduct site inspections.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date documentation and reporting.
  • Perform client facing activities to clarify requirements and expectations.
Key skill and experience
  • Good knowledge in the design, fabrication, assembly of packaged plant rooms and modular design & manufacture.
  • Industry standards, legislation and CE markings.
  • Requirements and change management.
  • Experience in HVAC or bespoke mechanical projects for the nuclear industry.
