Project Engineer Manager – Rooftop Fixing Systems

Location: Hailsham

Remuneration: £30,000 – £40,000 + company profit‑related bonus

Responsibilities

• Structural Design Engineer position, dealing with a high end range of manufactured rooftop fixing systems such as safe access, plant support, service support, screen support and plant decks.
• Producing designs/quotations from pre‑defined criteria in line with current process.
• Producing handover documents and issuing all relevant information to other departments.
• Ensuring that projects and designs are compliant with standards and regulations.
• Creating fabrication and installation drawings of large custom works.
• Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £300k.

Qualifications

• Fluent German speaker and hold a Structural/Mechanical/Civil Engineering degree level qualification or equivalent.
• Sound working experience with Inventor & Solidworks software packages.
• Graduate with relevant qualification also considered.
• Proactive, initiative, 'think on your feet' approach.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).
