A leading engineering firm in London is seeking a Project Engineer to support major CAPEX projects. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and proven experience managing large engineering projects within the rail or construction sectors. Based in the Global Outdoor Operations team and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, this role supports major CAPEX projects, delivering advertising assets across the TfL network. From bespoke large LED screens or multi‑location LCD screens, you'll be our engineering expert.
As a multi‑disciplined (civils / structural bias preferable) Project Engineer with experience in TfL, rail, or construction sectors working within the NEC contract framework, you'll play a crucial role in providing engineering, technical and buildability advice for your aspect of the project. You'll assist the Project Managers in negotiating through the technical and engineering aspects of the project.
You’ll coordinate technical elements, manage design and quality assurance, and oversee on‑site engineering as needed. Working across projects, you’ll ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards, collaborating with stakeholders, contractors, and other engineering specialists.
