A leading technical services provider in Tees Valley seeks an experienced Project Engineer to join their Nuclear Power Engineering team. Responsibilities include managing engineering documentation, supporting contractor selection, and conducting technical reviews. Candidates should ideally be Chartered Engineers or possess HNC qualifications, along with strong communication skills. The role is predominantly office-based but offers flexible working options.

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team supporting our key client EDF Energy Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK.
This is a key role within our project and engineering portfolio which is spread across our UK network at all UK sites and stations. You will be supported and mentored by experienced project engineering management professionals within the team and given the training and opportunities you need to develop and expand your project engineering management and leadership skills with larger and more complex projects. Since 1983 Hartlepool has generated over 258 TWh of zero‑carbon electricity which is enough to power every home in the Tees Valley for 204 years, avoiding 90m tonnes of CO₂ emissions, or like taking 43m cars off UK roads for a year. You will be accountable to the client Project Manager, Programme Manager and/or Construction Manager. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible, however the role will predominantly be based at the Power Station.
