Job summary

AP Sensing is seeking a Project Engineer (m/f/d) for its Basingstoke branch to own DFOS projects from design to completion. You will engage with customers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and travel to customer sites, including offshore work, delivering reliable sensing solutions worldwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical discipline
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel regularly for customer projects, including offshore work

Responsibilities

Technical ownership of DFOS projects from design through FAT, commissioning and handover
Coordinate activities across customers, suppliers, R&D, production and logistics
Communicate with customers, participate in project meetings, troubleshoot and follow up
Perform commissioning and site work across the UK and internationally
Prepare technical documentation: designs, BOMs, drawings, FAT/SAT reports and handover information
Support testing and validation of software/firmware in customer projects
Deliver customer training and post-installation technical support
