ICTS Project Engineer – Security Systems

Location : UK / Europe (Extensive travel across Europe)

Sector : Security, ICT & Integrated Systems

Salary : £50-60,000 DOE

Holt Engineering Group is working with a well-established and forward-thinking security systems provider delivering cutting-edge electronic security and life-safety solutions across the UK and Europe.

We’re recruiting for an experienced ICTS Project Engineer to support the delivery of advanced integrated security systems across a diverse portfolio of sites throughout the UK and Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled engineer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys travel, and wants to be part of a forward-thinking team driving high-quality, technology-led security projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support installation teams in the delivery of integrated security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection
• Ensure all works are completed to specification, compliance standards, and client expectations
• Supervise site activities, acting as Senior Installation Engineer where required
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning
• Coordinate project delivery with internal departments and client stakeholders
• Occasionally project-manage smaller installations on-site or within the service department
• Travel regularly across Europe, with periods of time spent working away

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in security system installation, commissioning, or project engineering
• Strong technical understanding of access control, CCTV, and integrated systems
• Confident leading teams and managing subcontractors on-site
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• High level of professionalism with a hands‑on, customer‑focused approach
• Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe
• Full UK driving licence
