Overview

I'm currently supporting a leading business in the cryogenics sector who are looking to add a Project Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for R&D, design, and project delivery to take ownership of exciting, cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects from start to finish.
  • Design cryogenic equipment (or work with a design team) and review drawings.
  • Provide technical leadership on R&D projects and coordinate project teams.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Support the sales team by preparing technical specifications for tender documents.
  • Occasionally get hands-on with wiring, testing, and installation of cryogenic systems - including global site work when required.
  • Develop and improve processes to enhance product quality and overall company performance.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree qualified - Physics (or related discipline) required.
  • Previous design experience in an R&D environment.
  • Hands-on experience with cryogenic equipment is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of cryogenic system design is advantageous
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
