Job summary

Cavendish Recruitment Professionals Ltd is recruiting a Project Engineer for a Central London project with a respected UK Principal Contractor.

ASAP start, 1-year duration, with duties including setting out, QA, as-built and coordination with the design team. Hours are 07:30–17:30, and a rate of £350‑£380 per shift depending on experience.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid.
• Driving license and driving ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Setting out, QA, as-built, and coordination of temporary/permanent works with the design team.
• Support delivery of complex demolition, cut‑and‑carve, basement, superstructure and core construction projects.

• Scope of Work: Supporting the delivery of complex demolition, cut‑and‑carve, basement, superstructure, and core construction projects.
• Duties: Setting Out, QA, As-built, Temporary / permanent works coordination with design team.
• Hours: 0730 – 1730
• Duration: 1 year
• Rate: £350‑£380 per shift depending upon experience

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site/Senior/Project Engineer on a similar project
• Experience within the areas listed above
• HNC, HND or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Valid Management CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid
• Ability to drive and lead a team
• Strong communication skills
• Commercial Awareness
• Ability to plan head
• Driving License – essential
