Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Project Engineer for a 9-month FTC to manage an important Aerospace project. The candidate should have experience in project delivery within the Aerospace sector, knowledge in machining and fabrication, and proficiency in Office applications. This role is based in Redditch, offering a competitive salary of £60,000 pro rata for 39 hours a week.

Overview

Role: Project Engineer - Aerospace department

Location: Redditch

Contract: 9 months FTC

Salary: £60000 pro rata

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30

Contracted hours: 40 per week

The basics:

We now require an additional Project Engineer to deliver an important project for the business in a first-class precision engineering environment with processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of outsourced processes.

Responsibilities

As the Project Engineer you will be working in a technical role managing the delivery of the project from start to finish.

Qualifications
  1. Experience in delivering projects within the Aerospace sector.
  2. Knowledge of processes such as - machining and/or fabrication.
  3. Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.
  4. Competence in Office particularly Excel, Word and Project.
  5. Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  6. Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications and break out the details and processes required for each operation required for manufacture.
  7. Capable of working un-supervised and using own initiative.

Commutable from Alcester, Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas.
