About the role

Your responsibilities

• Champion our capital investment plan spanning a 5-year horizon, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
• Direct end-to-end capital project processes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specifications.
• Offer leadership to guarantee the engineering function is effectively resourced and that project plans are actively managed and adhered to.
• Seamlessly transfer project results to the relevant departments, ensuring a comprehensive post-capex evaluation is completed.
• Embrace continuous improvement in all systems and practises, advancing individual and team capabilities.
• Uphold exacting health and safety standards, delivering engineering solutions that provide a competitive edge.

The experience we\'re looking for

• Engineering Qualification; Minimum HNC
• Proven experience in project and manufacturing management within a similar environment.
• Deeply knowledgeable about engineering and manufacturing processes complemented by strong project management practises.
• Ability to demonstrate financial savviness when assessing business issues and opportunities.
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards
• Adept at leading and developing engineering and maintenance personnel.
• Well-honed interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and influence across all company levels.
