Overview

This role requires a skilled Project Engineer to manage and deliver projects related to maintaining and servicing gas turbines within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. This role will be based in Dubai offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to engineering projects.

Description

• Manage and oversee projects related to our clients gas turbines from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering and manufacturing standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Qualifications

• A successful Project Engineer should have an Engineering Degree-qualified or with relevant field experience.
• Preferred 5 years' experience in the gas turbine services industry.
• Experience with GE heavy duty gas turbines is essential.
• Prior exposure to commercial or contractual matters is an advantage, but not essential.
• Proficiency in managing engineering projects effectively.
• Ability to interpret and create technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Understanding of compliance with relevant industry standards.
