Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 5 years' engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of electrical controls (e.g. PLCs, pneumatics, AC/DC drives).
  • Proven ability in problem-solving using 8D, FMEA, or similar techniques.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project).
  • Clear communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexible, detail-oriented and confident working under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
  • Create detailed technical designs, specifications and documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Support troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and identify solutions to technical issues.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements across the site.
  • Maintain and update technical records, drawings and project documentation.
  • Stay current with industry technologies and introduce new materials or methods.

Are you a mechanically biased engineer with a passion for delivering complex projects and driving continuous improvement?

We're looking for an Project Engineer to join our client's high-performing team, taking ownership of engineering projects from design through to delivery. Reporting to the Engineering Director, this is a key role supporting the business with equipment maintenance, process improvements, and innovation across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
