Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily site activities as per project requirements.
• Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments.
• Supervise site engineers and manage subcontractors.
• Participate in early design reviews.

• Support the Sub-Agent with day-to-day operations.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Project Engineer (x2) - Groundworks & RC Structures

📍Locations: Derby & Corby
🕒 Duration: 12-18 months (Start: ASAP)

We are seeking two experienced Project Engineers to join our team and deliver a multi‑disciplinary civil engineering project across our Derby and Corby sites. The project involves groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) works and offers the opportunity to work on a high‑value, technically challenging development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site works to high standards of safety, quality, and performance in accordance with project procedures and standards.
• Lead “setting to work” briefings with a focus on safe and quality‑driven execution.
• Direct and prioritize daily site activities in line with project requirements.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and QA documentation.
• Carry out limited setting‑out duties as required.
• Supervise site engineers and manage sub‑contractors effectively.
• Participate in early design reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance through control, inspection, and test plans.
• Promote a strong culture of safe working practices on site.
• Support the Sub‑Agent/Agent with day‑to‑day operations and reporting.
