Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer in St Ives for a global manufacturer. You will oversee projects from sales, quotation, and bid lifecycle, working on electro-mechanical and robotics equipment for blue-chip clients.

The role offers Monday-Friday, 37 hours contracted, office-based with training and progression opportunities. An Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Design) and willingness to be the go-to technical expert are desirable.

Qualifications

• Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Design) required or preferred.
• Interest in Bid/Project lead role.
• Commutable to St Ives.

Project Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Benefits

St Ives (Commutable from: Huntingdon, St Neots, Ely, Cambridge, Peterborough, Newmarket)

Do you have any Project or Design experience looking for a clear progression and development plan where you will be the go-to-technical expert on large scale projects?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global manufacturer, supplying future focused equipment, receive specialist training and have long-term job stability.

This multi-million pound and highly successful company manufacture Robotics systems for the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors. Recent investment has meant new machinery and improved facilities.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing Projects predominately from Sales, Quotation and confirmation of Bid lifecycle. You will be working on Electro-mechanical and Robotics equipment for blue-chip clients.

This role would suit an Engineer with who enjoys being involved from concept through to manufacture, whilst also liaising with various departments.

The Role:

• Project management - Quoting, Estimating, Bid lifecycle
• Working on the bespoke manufacture of Robotics / Automation.
• Monday - Friday (37 hours contracted). Office based

The Person:

• Any Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Design).
• Looking for more of a Bid / Project lead role.
• Commutable to St Ives.
