Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on various aspects of the project.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Maintain project costs within approved allowances.

About the Role

Our client is strengthening its delivery team with a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer for a major water-sector project in Bournemouth.

You’ll support the Project Manager in coordinating plant design, procurement, construction information flow, commissioning planning, and cost forecasting.

The role requires a proactive, organised individual who thrives in a fast-moving infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Keep project costs within tender / approved allowances
  • Submit all applications for payment on time
  • Support contract reviews and monthly forecasts
  • Maintain strong client relationships across all levels
  • Assist in project management strategy and programme development
  • Help maintain contract filing systems
  • Monitor progress and generate programme reportsProvide information for O&M manual production
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and site management
  • Track subcontractor performance
  • Support construction completion and handover documentation
  • Maintain ongoing CPD and represent the business professionally
  • Protect confidentiality at all times
  • Work closely with design teams to progress timely, quality solutions
  • Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules
  • Ensure designs support safe construction, operation, and maintenance
  • Complete the capitalisation process
