Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to play a key role in design coordination, procurement, and project delivery across M&E projects. This is a hands-on position where you\'ll be involved from pre-mobilisation through to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design surveys & provide detailed information to design teams
  • Review tenders, focusing on design, programme, and risks
  • Conduct design Q&A sessions with clients & project teams
  • Submit & track RFIs to resolve project queries
  • Create procurement documents & technical submittals
  • Develop project programmes & highlight risks
  • Measure labour & materials accurately
  • Liaise with procurement to order materials, plant & equipment
  • Review sub-contractor quotes & support contract awards
  • Assist with design communication & support project QA
  • Draft site instructions & commissioning documents
  • Produce handover documents including O&M manuals
Requirements
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
  • Experience in a similar Project Engineer role
  • Strong knowledge of British Standards & M&E disciplines
  • Excellent time management & ability to run multiple projects
  • High attention to detail & report writing skills
  • Strong communication at all levels (site to senior management)
  • Knowledge of health & safety best practice
  • Full UK driving licence
