Job summary

Orion Electrotech is recruiting a Project Engineer in Bristol to bridge design, manufacturing and customer requirements. You will develop new products, refine existing ones and troubleshoot production issues across the production process.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams and liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure projects meet high standards and are delivered efficiently, with clear progression paths.

  • Develop and realise new designs in line with customer requirements, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Create tooling designs, technical drawings and process instructions for manufacturing and inspection.
  • Facilitate the smooth introduction of new designs into production with Manufacturing Engineers and Production Managers.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers and handle technical queries.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust, effective solutions.
  • Manage existing products, identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to development of new materials, manufacturing processes and technologies within the company.

They are seeking a Project Engineer to join their innovative team. The role of Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between design, manufacturing, and customer requirements. Your expertise will help develop new products, refine existing ones, and troubleshoot issues across the production process. You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams, as well as external customers and suppliers, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
