Reports To: Project Manager & Projects Director

Working hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Role Overview

Wright Engineering are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join their expanding projects team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a variety of engineering projects, coordinating design progress, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the projects team to plan, manage, and deliver complex engineering schemes.
  • Organise and conduct regular reviews of engineering design progress against project schedules.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and technical information effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including design proposals, technical reports, and project plans.
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout project development, ensuring alignment and timely approvals.
  • Support the delivery of works on-site, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering environment.
  • Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively at various levels within an organisation.
  • Educated to degree level, or working towards, in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience with design processes and proficiency in AutoCAD.
