Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Project Director to lead major construction projects in the UK. You will own the project strategy, drive delivery, and manage client and stakeholder relationships to secure opportunities and ensure contractual obligations are met.

The role requires extensive leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to operate in challenging environments while focusing on safety and quality standards across multiple sites.

Job description

AsProjectDirectoryouwillprovideprojectleadershipandbeaccountableforprojectdelivery,includingthecreationandimplementationoftheprojectdeliverystrategyandassociatedplanstoensureBovissuccessfullydeliversourcontractualobligations.

Keyresponsibilities

TheProjectDirectorwillbeaccountablefordrivingsuccessandprojectteamperformancetomeetbothBovisandclientprojectsuccessfactors, including:

• Developandimplementtheprojectstrategy,processesandworkingmethodsusingtheBovismanagementsystems.Toinclude projectconversionplansandprojectdeliveryplanstoensureexecutionofprojectdeliverableswithinagreedparameters(e.g.budget,time),inaccordancewithcontractualrequirementsandBovisqualitystandards.
• Creatingandmaintainingan IncidentandInjuryFreesafetyculture(design,clientandtradecontractors),demonstratingclearand uncompromisingleadershiptoensureweoperatesafelyprotectingeveryone.
• Reviewprogress,performanceandreporttoBovisleadershipteams,providemonthlyBusinessReportsandReviews,internallyand withclients.
• Identifycorrectiveactions,developsolutionsandcontributetocontinuousimprovement.
• Leadonclientandpartnerstakeholderrelationshipsandmanagingprojectmatters.
• DevelopProgrammesandschedulesforyourproject,includingdevelopmentofsite
