Ready for your next challenge? A fantastic opportunity awaits a motivated and enthusiastic Project Director.
As a Project Director you will provide outstanding levels of client servicing to both new and established clients. You will get to work across delivering a variety of B2B and B2C experiential projects as well as other communications initiatives, campaigns, digital interactives and design projects.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship / Account Management
- Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of key client accounts at Imagination
- Lead meetings and provide clear updates to all parties on project/programme updates
- Provide outstanding client servicing, ensuring timely communications to build trusted partnerships with clients
Project Management
- Write highly effective and compelling project briefs and brief internal teams
- Running larger more complex projects
- Lead responsibility for project delivery, managing a multi-discipline team (including strategy, creative, production and digital specialists) as well as management of third party suppliers
- Responsible for the management of the account and client contact
- Oversee efficient resource planning across the team
- Demonstrate understanding of services and be able to sell these effectively
- Demonstrate successful onsite management and delivery ensuring projects reflect briefs and meet objectives
- Manage creative development process and demonstrate ability to assess proposals against creative brief and objectives
- Present budgets, documents and creative concepts to clients with confidence and finesse
- Lead pitches working collaboratively with other disciplines and partners to create brave and inspiring agency proposals underpinned by a rigorous delivery plan, budget and schedule
- Drive new business initiatives, seek out new projects, clients and opportunities
- Maintain a close management of all aspects of your projects and elevate issues as needed
- Liaise with our in-house legal team and the client as needed
- Work with internal HSSE Lead to ensure all aspects of production of core events meet HSSE standards and guidelines
- Ensure all projects over £50K fees are issued with an Imagination Client Survey
- Should be able to travel internationally a number of times a year for extended periods of time
Financial / Commercial Management
- Demonstrate financial responsibility through effective proposal costing, budget development and timely reconciliation
- Assess/measure and communicate the value and ROI of services
- Spot opportunities to develop revenue-generating ideas
Market Knowledge
- Understanding clients, competitors, market, suppliers and strategy
Leadership & Mentoring
- Delegate to, manage and oversee team
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Work with Creative Director & Strategy Director to lead creative brainstorming
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Significant experience delivering projects globally within events, exhibitions or brand experience within an agency environment
- Good interpersonal, presentation, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Thorough understanding of budgets
- Experienced in leading / directing a team
- Capable of devising and implementing revenue-generating ideas
- Ability to approach opportunities from a commercial, creative and multidisciplinary perspective
- Strategic thinker with the ability to generate and implement ideas
- Strong understanding of multi channel communications
- Strong sector brand experience
