We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our team as a Project Development & Funding Officer. The PDFU (Project Development & Funding Unit) is renowned for its ability to draw in funding from external sources and has shown, repeatedly, to have an outstanding performance in delivering all manner of projects, from inception to completion. The Throws track record in helping to make the County a better place to live, relax and work by developing amenities for sport, culture, recreation, education, the environment and general well-being. Team members have a 'Can Do' attitude and a creative approach to meeting challenges head $ú on, delivering projects under a wide range of unique scenarios. The work is exciting, multi‑faceted, often technical and demanding. As a Project Development & Funding Officer, you will work with a wide range of client groups in making grant acquisitions and assisting them with complex issues which might include legislation, procurement, Standards, governance, and technical expertise, etc. You will be asked to assist with setting up and managing a range of Renewable Energy Community Benefit Funds. Part of the role will require sound project management skills and a need to prioritise and work under your own initiative. Your daily routine will include:
Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces. This post is subject to a basic DBS disclosure. Welsh Language skills are not required.
