About the Company

I'm supporting a well‑established workplace solutions provider operating across design, build, furniture and relocation services within the commercial fit‑out sector. The business delivers innovative, sustainable and functional workspaces for a diverse portfolio of clients, integrating end‑to‑end services that cover concept creation through to final handover.

About the Role

As Senior Project Designer, you will play a key role in leading the design for commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects. You'll take briefs from concept stage through detailed design, ensuring the final output aligns with the client's strategic workplace needs while maintaining design integrity throughout delivery.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Producing and leading design development using Revit as a core tool, including model creation, coordination and detailed documentation.
  • Interpreting workplace strategy, brand identity and operational needs to create intelligent and innovative design solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless coordination from design through to construction.
  • Preparing and presenting concepts, design proposals, technical drawings and schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations, accessibility, sustainability goals and internal standards.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior design team members.
  • Supporting site‑based activities, addressing design challenges and ensuring successful delivery of design intent.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in commercial interior design, architecture or workplace fit‑out (typically 6+ years).
  • Strong Revit capability and confidence working within BIM workflows.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical detailing, materials, construction methods and building systems.
  • Excellent space‑planning and concept‑to‑completion design experience.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages with strong organisational skills.
  • A relevant design or architectural qualification and a portfolio showcasing workplace projects.
