This company is seeking a Project Design Engineer to join their innovative engineering team at their facility in Redditch. What You Will Do

• Contribute to the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies and components used across a range of industrial and defence-related applications.
• Manage projects through the full product lifecycle - from initial concept and prototype to production release.
• Produce detailed 3D and 2D CAD designs using PTC Creo 12 software.
• Carry out performance and feasibility calculations using in-house engineering tools.
• Work collaboratively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Research new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to support ongoing innovation.

What You Will Bring

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally PTC Creo, with experience in alternatives such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360 also considered.
• Strong technical communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive attitude, analytical thinking, and a passion for solving engineering challenges.
• Ability to meet UK security clearance requirements (e.g. Baseline Personnel Security Standard or Security Check), which typically requires residency in the UK for at least 5 years and British citizenship or dual nationality.
• Full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and a full UK driving licence.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
