Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our Water team and help deliver a diverse portfolio of technical projects across the UK. You will manage project plans, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships while supporting both capital works and SaaS projects.

This role suits a project professional with experience in digital and complex engineering delivery, who can collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and drive delivery excellence with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience delivering projects through full lifecycle with strong planning and budgeting skills.
• Familiarity with NEC4 contracts is desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Delivery Manager to join our growing Water team, supporting a diverse portfolio of technical projects across the UK. This role is ideal for a project professional with experience in digital and complex engineering delivery, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting the successful delivery of challenging programmes.

Purpose And Scope Of The Role

You will support the delivery of projects through the full lifecycle, working within a multi-disciplinary team on technically challenging and commercially important work. The role will involve managing project plans, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships, while supporting both capital works and software as a service projects. You will work closely with clients, colleagues and supply chain partners to help ensure safe, high-quality outcomes delivered in line with agreed scope, time and cost.

Core Capabilities

• Project delivery support – Experience supporting projects through the full lifecycle, with a focus on scope, schedule, cost and quality, and the ability to keep delivery teams aligned.
• Technical and engineering awareness – Background in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, with the confidence to work in technical environments and understand engineering-led delivery.
• Digital and complex project experience – Experience working on digital, systems or complex engineering projects, with an understanding of how different delivery approaches may be applied.
• Commercial and contract awareness – Ideally some experience of NEC4 contracts, with an understanding of how to manage change, risk and performance effectively.
• Stakeholder management – Able to build positive working relationships with clients, delivery teams and wider stakeholders, communicating clearly and resolving issues constructively.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

You should be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline. Experience in project delivery is essential, and familiarity with NEC4 contract processes would be desirable.

You will also need strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain delivery focus. A full UK driving licence is required.

Work patterns and locations:

We are recruiting across Warrington, Brighton, Exeter, Leeds, Sheffield and Derby. Hybrid working arrangements may be available, with occasional travel to client, site and team locations as required.
