We are looking for a Project Coordinator (Commercial Operations Advisor) to join our dynamic and driven construction consultancy supporting our busy Public Sector team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis.

What does the role involve

As a Commercial Operations Advisor you will be responsible for the alignment of people, processes and technology to support all commercial activities, improve delivery, drive innovation and help foster a culture of ownership and accountability. Working with a diverse team of construction professionals you’ll enable projects to be successfully completed on schedule, within budget and with utmost client satisfaction from proposal through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor KPIs, track progress against business plans and roadmaps and report deviations in collaboration with Finance
  • Maintain project trackers and CRM systems to ensure visibility of project status, client commitments and pipeline data
  • Support Project Managers with fee resource charts, change control and preparation of fee proposals and related documentation
  • Coordinate invoice scheduling and approvals, liaising with Accounts and leadership to ensure timely processing
  • Assist with tender submissions and bid coordination including documentation preparation, meeting participation and stakeholder follow‑up
  • Act as a liaison between commercial and enabling functions to ensure efficient project delivery and communication
  • Contribute to forecasting, business planning and resource planning activities across the Public Sector team
  • Manage key project documentation including appointment letters and version‑controlled records, escalating variations when necessary
  • Analyse operational and commercial data, produce reports and identify trends to support decision‑making
  • Develop and maintain internal tools, trackers and guidance documents to improve team efficiency and accountability
  • Support onboarding processes and provide administrative support for technical documentation and compliance
  • Assist with cross‑functional projects and provide general support to the wider Operations team as required
  • Always take personal responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others by working within company H&S procedures
  • Endeavour to improve our social and environmental impact
  • Any other duties as reasonably required
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working within the construction industry in a similar discipline
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines efficiently and to a high quality
  • Confident communicating and contributing in discussions and meetings with colleagues, clients and stakeholders
  • Good networking skills and willingness to contribute towards business development
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail, highly organised and strong time‑management skills
  • Manage commercial operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign preferable
