Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate fire safety projects, particularly related to fire stopping and fire doors. This role involves end-to-end project management—from scoping and contractor sourcing to client liaison, performance monitoring, and final project sign‑off.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and confirm project scopes in line with client requirements and relevant fire safety standards.
• Source, vet, and appoint contractors for fire stopping and fire door works.
• Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and addressing any queries or concerns.
• Ensure contractor compliance with health & safety regulations and fire safety legislation.
• Monitor progress and performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
• Conduct site visits as needed to assess progress, quality, and compliance.
• Manage project documentation, including RAMS, permits, and installation records.
• Review and sign off on completion reports and ensure all certification and supporting documents are received.
• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate resources and share project updates.

Core Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, compliance, or fire safety-related projects.
• Knowledge of fire stopping and fire door regulations (e.g., BS 476, BS EN 1634, BM TRADA).
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to (if required).

Desirable Qualifications

• FIRAS or BM TRADA accreditation or experience working with certified contractors.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or other health and safety certification (would be advantageous).
