Job description
Overview

Established Mechanical Service and Maintenance Contracting Organisation is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their dynamic team supporting the delivery of commercial heating and mechanical projects. As Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Managers and wider operations team by coordinating daily workloads, managing project documentation and ensuring smooth communication between clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Contract

Permanent contract with competitive salary and immediate start available. Successful candidates should demonstrate excellent administration, coordination and customer services skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and allocate tasks for the following day based on the work spreadsheet
  • Liaise with customers
  • Work closely with Project Managers to schedule and issue work
  • Book jobs into the Job Logic system
  • Negotiate with suppliers
  • Compile and assist the Project Managers with project documentation
  • Place orders for goods and services
  • Assist with tender submissions
  • Manage the project inbox
  • Support ad hoc tasks such as writing manuals or documents
  • Opportunity to be trained in CAD for future development

Location

Oldbury, West Midlands

Hours

Mon to Thurs 8 am – 5 pm, Fri 8 am – 4:30 pm (39.5 hours per week)

Salary

£25,000 to £35,000 – dependent upon experience

Benefits
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 3 years
  • £45 monthly attendance bonus for no unauthorised absence
