Job summary

GEL Engineering in Dorchester is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of essential water industry projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to keep plans, budgets and schedules on track and to coordinate day‑to‑day activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering, construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to review material requirements and project costs.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Positive, collaborative approach with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

The Role
Responsibilities

As our Project Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from start to finish. Working closely with the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys working as part of a team. You’ll have the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Ideally, You Will Have
  • Proven experience working within the engineering, construction or infrastructure industry, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations, but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to review and analyse material requirements and project costs.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • A positive, collaborative approach with excellent teamworking abilities.
