Job summary

Kent is seeking a seasoned project controls professional to oversee reporting, forecasting and budget visibility on a large EPC project. You will lead the project controls team, develop schedule and cost control mechanisms, and implement document control aligned with contractual requirements to support delivery.

You will provide ongoing risk assessment, deliver progress reports and early warnings on performance risks, and advise the Engineering Management Team on risks, constraints and project

Responsibilities

• Lead Project reporting, forecasting and budget reports for the entire project.
• Lead the project controls team to develop effective schedule and cost control mechanisms.
• Implementation of document control and administration processes aligned with contractual requirements.
• Establishment of change management controls to protect budget hours.
• Oversight of information management systems to ensure effective data flow.
• Delivery of progress reports and early warnings on performance risks.
• Independent leadership and guidance across planning, cost management, information management and document control functions.
• Advisory support to the Engineering Management Team on risks, constraints, and project controls.
• Preparation of documentation to support variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Input to commercial negotiations by advising on project control considerations.
• Assurance that processes meet quality and compliance standards, including audit support.
• Ongoing identification of risks, opportunities, and efficiencies to enhance project delivery.

Scope of Work

Engaged to provide specialist project controls services on a large, EPC project, focusing on implementing effective controls, forecasting, and reporting to support Kent and the client in achieving successful delivery.
