Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Controls Engineer in Planning to join our Infrastructure team in the UK. The role supports Senior Planners, develops planning processes, and maintains schedules to enable informed decisions across water and infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, deliverables teams and clients, producing forecasts and dashboards while upholding disciplined governance and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK water/utilities or regulated infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of earned value management, cost control and change control.
• Ability to produce project controls reports, dashboards and schedules.
• Understanding of governance and performance reporting in projects.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop and implement planning processes and systems.
• Maintain schedules and baselines; support monthly reporting and governance.
• Coordinate planning data with project managers and delivery partners.
• Forecast out-turn dates and identify delays or overruns.
• Apply consistent planning controls across projects and programmes.
