Job summary

Randstad Cpe London is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to lead project controls on the HS2 project, one of the UK's most significant infrastructure initiatives. The engineer will develop and produce critical reports and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent Earned Value Management skills and proficiency in planning software such as P6. This position offers flexible working options, including part-time and remote opportunities, as well as a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Qualifications

• High degree of proficiency in P6 Planning and Control Software.
• Competent IT skills including MS Excel for data manipulation.
• Experience using data visualization tool Microsoft Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning team and establish Earned Value Analysis.
• Ensure that client reporting requirements are always met.
• Participate in managing the project risk register.

Skills

Thorough understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)

Proficiency in P6 Planning and Control Software

Knowledge of Engineering and Construction Industry

Competent IT skills including MS Excel

Good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

Experience using Microsoft Power BI

Education

Relevant degree or qualification in engineering or project management
