Qualifications

  • Proven track record delivering complex, high-value construction/infrastructure programmes (minimum £250m, ideally £1bn+).
  • Experience on major projects such as Crossrail, Hinkley Point C, or Thames Tideway is desirable.
  • Deep experience in programme leadership, risk management, project controls, and stakeholder engagement.

Overview

A global consultancy is seeking experienced Programme Directors to join its expanding team delivering major infrastructure programmes across sectors including civil infrastructure, data centres, defence, and energy. These permanent roles are available on a hybrid basis and will focus on large-scale infrastructure projects in the defence and nuclear sectors. You will act as the key interface between the client and the construction partners to ensure successful programme delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and govern complex infrastructure programmes, ensuring delivery against scope, time, cost and quality targets.
  • Act as principal interface between clients and construction partners, facilitating effective stakeholder engagement and governance.
  • Develop and maintain programme controls, risk management, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee commercial and contract management, including NEC3/NEC4 frameworks, within complex environments.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record delivering complex, high-value construction/infrastructure programmes (minimum £250m, ideally £1bn+).
  • Experience on major projects such as Crossrail, Hinkley Point C, or Thames Tideway is desirable.
  • Deep experience in at least some of the following areas: programme leadership, governance, risk management, project controls, commercial/contract management (NEC3/NEC4), and stakeholder engagement within complex environments.
