Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Project / Contracts Manager to oversee window and door installations across London and the M25, handling both housing and commercial/public sector projects as a principal contractor or specialist sub-contractor.

You will coordinate installation teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality and strict health & safety adherence. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multi-site window/door installation projects.
• Strong leadership to coordinate installers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards on construction sites.
• Formal site safety tickets: SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all steel and aluminium window installations on site.

• Coordinate and schedule installations to optimise time and resources.
• Liaise between site team and head office to ensure clear communication.
• Provide professional updates to clients when required.
• Ensure jobs are installed to high standards and properly snagged.

Job description

I am currently in need of a Project / Contracts Manager to help manage and deliver window & doors installation projects across London & the M25 on a mixture of housing, commercial & public sector projects both as principal contractor and specialist sub contractor for Tier 1 / 2 clients with values ranging between £100k to £5 million.

Day to day duties will include

• Oversee all installations of steel and aluminium windows
• Managing and support of installations teams as well as subcontractors
• Coordinate and schedule installations, ensuring efficient time management
• Working closely with the office team (attend office meetings and spend time between sites and office)
• Act as key liaison between site team and office, ensuring clear communication
• Communicate professionally with clients when necessary
• Ensure all jobs are installed correctly and to high standards and all processes followed. Taking detailed site photos showing progress, snagging and finished installation.
• Ensure jobs are signed off properly, reporting and addressing any issues with the office.
• Promote and enforce high health and safety standards, assessing installers and leading by example. Site tickets required are SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualified.
