Descripción del empleo

DJ FASHION LTD is a design studio focused on architecture and interiors for commercial clients. We plan and design workplaces, retail units, studios and small developments, helping owners make better use of space and create practical, well-presented environments for everyday operations. Our work runs from early layout ideas and sketches through to detailed drawings and information ready for fit-out and construction.

We give clear direction, coordinate with other project partners and keep design information straightforward so it is easy to build on site. Clients work with us when they want spaces that are efficient, compliant and cost aware, but still have character. Whether it is a single refurbishment or part of a wider property plan, DJ FASHION LTD provides steady design support that fits around existing teams and helps projects move smoothly from idea to completed space.

Job Description

You'll help keep projects organised and moving in the right direction. Acting as a link between clients, designers and contractors, you'll manage information, track actions and support the team in delivering work to agreed dates. Your job is to keep things clear, tidy and predictable so designers can focus on design and delivery teams have what they need.

What you'll be doing
  • Maintain project trackers, action lists and key dates across several live jobs.
  • Help set up and run remote project meetings; capture notes and follow up actions clearly.
  • Support the issuing of drawing packs and documents, keeping registers up to date.
  • Chase outstanding information and decisions from clients, consultants and suppliers.
  • Help prepare simple reports, presentations and fee proposals where needed.
  • Keep shared folders and project files organised so the team can find information easily.
  • Flag potential programme or scope risks early so they can be managed, not discovered late.
What success looks like (first 3-6 months)
  • Project trackers, notes and registers are consistently up to date and easy to follow.
  • Design and information deadlines are met more reliably, with fewer last minute scrambles.
  • Positive feedback from designers and clients on the clarity of communication and follow up.
  • Fewer dropped actions or missing decisions because you've kept them visible and chased.
  • At least one small process or template improvement introduced that the team adopts.
Qualifications
  • Experience in project coordination or support, ideally in design, construction or property.
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort managing several streams of work at once.
  • Clear written communication and confident use of email, spreadsheets and online tools.
  • A calm, practical approach, able to prioritise and flag issues without drama.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Exposure to architecture, interiors or fit-out projects (client, consultant or contractor side).
  • Familiarity with project management tools, shared drives and/or CDEs.
  • Experience preparing simple reports, fee summaries or status updates.
Additional Information
  • Remote-first: UK based role with occasional in-person meetings or site visits.
  • Equipment: company laptop and standard software; contribution to home office set up.
  • Leave: 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays (and your birthday off).
  • Professional growth: support for training in project coordination and construction basics.
  • Travel: reimbursed for agreed project and team visits.
  • Pension & wellbeing: workplace pension plus access to support resources.

Equal opportunities: we welcome applications from all backgrounds and can offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.
