Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to coordinate and support the delivery of our Patient Education and Volunteer Service. This role involves planning, organising, maintaining and supporting volunteer activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with our volunteer framework and other organisational policies.

This post is fixed term for 11 months to cover the needs of the service.

Main Duties Of The Role Include
  • Plan and coordinate patient education sessions, volunteer schedules, activities and events.
  • Recruit, assess, train and support volunteers, ensuring appropriate placement and compliance with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer databases and records.
  • Liaise with internal teams and community partners to promote volunteering opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate volunteer engagement, service performance and satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers on volunteering policy, procedures and best practice.
  • Support meetings, service reviews and divisional events through effective organisation and administration.
