  • Experience of Streetworks noticing and hiring of plant preferred but not essential.

About The Role

About The Role… To support the Project Managers with all administrative duties and to ensure all works are compliant with respect to Project Delivery - This position would be ideal if you are working towards NEBOSH qualification.

As a Project Assistant you will…

  • Assist operational management in closing out all incident investigations promptly and completely, ensuring all investigation recommendations are implemented.
  • Support third party audits and accreditations and assist with the timely close out and action of any observations, non-conformities.
  • Support operational management teams with client and project and subcontractor pre-start workshops to ensure that the works are planned and will be executed safely prior to commencement on site.
  • Assist operational management & supervisors in preparing RAMS/job packs and with the briefing of workers and ensure that they are reviewed and updated at regular intervals.
  • Accurately process information and ensure deadlines are met. Participate in attaining and maintaining company certification systems. Suggest corrective actions to any non-compliance. Client interfaces - receive projects via Alfresco and raise Ipsum job on database. Liaise with Project Manager(s) to issue for quoting and oversee the PO process.
  • Commercial support to the Project Managers and the Commercial department. Performance monitoring of the work programme to ensure efficient delivery of the plans. Reporting of process management data and monitor performance and feedback results along with advice and solutions for any non-conformances identified.
About You

About You… Previous experience as a Project Assistant, ideally within the Utilities/ Power or Construction Industry. We require you to be highly organised and have good level of administrative experience. If you have experience of Streetworks noticing and hiring of plant, this would be preferred but not essential. Good understanding of Alfresco and ideally working towards NEBOSH qualification (preferable) and Secondary education minimum GCSE’S or equivalent in Maths and English.
