Job summary

The Crowd, a London-based architecture practice, is seeking an Architect to join a talented, close-knit design team. The role focuses on retrofit, commercial and workplace projects, offering hands-on experience from early design through technical stages within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in a professional design studio, with commercial/workplace experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential for this role.
• A proactive and collaborative attitude, comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Associate across commercial and workplace projects from early design through technical and tender stages.
• Develop design ideas and communicate them clearly to clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Contribute to design development, research and presentation materials.
• Assist with mood boards, drawing packages and material/sample selections.
• Support FF&E selection, specification and documentation.
• Produce architectural drawings and project information using Revit.
• Collaborate with the wider design team on day-to-day project delivery.
• Attend project meetings and progress live projects.
• Maintain a high standard of design information throughout the project lifecycle.

The Crowd are partnering with a highly respected mid-sized London-based architecture practice to recruit a Architect for their talented and close-knit team. Renowned for delivering thoughtful, technically accomplished architecture, the studio has built a strong reputation across the commercial sector and continues to secure an impressive portfolio of large-scale UK projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across retrofit, commercial or workplace projects who is keen to continue developing within a supportive and design-focused studio. You will work across a variety of live projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience across both the creative and technical aspects of design, while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Project Associate across commercial and workplace projects from early design through to technical and tender stages
