Are you well-organised, interested in data and research infrastructure and looking for a new challenge that supports building research opportunities and engagement? If so Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust has just the job. You would be joining an innovative, supportive team that sits between Informatics and Research and Innovation who have a variety of experiences and you would be welcomed into a team that supports staff development. Working alongside the Programme Manager within the busy Clinical Data Science Unit Team and alongside other specialist team members, you will work on a variety of projects and programmes supporting the building of communities and service workstreams. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development, automation and streamlining of research and innovation by increasing opportunities for people to collaborate and work together.
CDSU is an innovative unit focused on advancing research and innovation through creative collaborations, secondary uses of data using a variety of data science and analytical techniques and building new technologies. It boasts a flexible, cloud-based Trusted Research Environment, nationally approved research data warehouse with a diverse array of datasets and environments, imaging and waveform data pipelines, a high-performance computing cluster and certified governance and security processes to internationally recognised standards.
This post will be set within CDSU, working collaboratively with other colleagues across Informatics and IT and Research and Innovation, contributing to the development of solutions to support the organisation. The post holder will be a dynamic, collaborative team member who engages well with both internal and external stakeholders.
The post-holder will support the Programme Manager in the provision of project management, communications and engagement services within the Clinical Data Science Unit. They will have responsibility for project and programme admin, coordination and engagement (reactive and proactive) across a variety of professional and public groups (including funded national groups with specific research remits); reputation management and delivery of targeted communications and tasks with the Trust internal and external audiences.
