We're looking for a Transformation Programme Manager to take ownership of delivering key change initiatives across compliance, process, people, and digital improvement. This role is a fixed term contract for a 9-month period.

Reporting to Owen Monie, our CEO, you'll turn strategic priorities into structured programmes of work, coordinating delivery across our support teams and practice network. This role combines programme management discipline with hands‑on change delivery - with a strong emphasis on process redesign, people engagement, and implementation.

You’ll be the engine room of our transformation - helping the business prioritise, organise, and deliver meaningful change that drives both compliance and cultural improvement.

About us

We're a growing veterinary group with sites across the North of England, Midlands, Glasgow and North Wales. Our business is evolving rapidly - driven by regulatory change and our ambition to deliver a smarter, more connected, and digitally enabled veterinary network.

As we respond to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) review, we're using this as an opportunity to streamline processes, and invest in people and digital transformation that will set us ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of a portfolio of initiatives, including CMA-related compliance, Digital, people and process improvements.
  • Work with operational leaders to redesign core business processes for efficiency, control, and scalability.
  • Support people-related change - communication, engagement, and capability development - to embed new ways of working.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Finance and IT) to deliver on agreed priorities.
  • Track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide structured reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure the changes deliver sustainable, well-controlled processes that deliver for both our customers and people.
About you
  • 5-10 years of experience managing cross-functional change projects or programmes - ideally spanning process, people, and system improvement.
  • Strong delivery discipline - able to turn ideas into structured plans, drive execution, and maintain momentum.
  • Experience with compliance and transformation programmes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - confident working with senior leaders and operational teams.
  • A collaborative, hands‑on approach with the ability to coach and influence others through change.
  • Experience in multi-site service, healthcare, or veterinary environments (preferred but not essential).
  • Clean driving licence.
What we offer
  • A key role in shaping the future of a fast-growing veterinary group.
  • Opportunity to lead high-impact change across compliance, process, and people transformation.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility and autonomy.
