We are looking for someone who can:
  • Oversee and strategically lead the end-to-end project management of priority statewide health projects,ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop, lead or facilitate the delivery of implementation strategies, and change adoption plan to embedsustainable health service improvements, mobilising people to undertake collaborative action for servicetransformation.
  • Provide expert advice on project and/or change management activities, design, governance, workflows,resourcing, scope, milestones and timelines, where appropriate integrating plans and schedules toensure successful delivery of project/program milestones.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on how to lead through change and support their teams and project staff toensure high-performance outcomes in healthcare improvement initiatives.

What you will be doing

The Program Accelerator team ensures that priority and complex projects are set up for success by setting aconsistent method and standards for managing projects and change. Reporting into the Executive Director, ClinicalEngagement and Operational Programs the Program Accelerator team may lead or contribute expertise to the designand delivery of priority projects and ensure alignment to the Agency for Clinical Innovation's strategic goals andobjectives.

The role will oversee and strategically lead program, project and change management across all stages of the projectcycle, driving high-level buy in and adoption to successfully deliver healthcare improvement initiatives, in hospitals andclinical settings across NSW Health.

As a Project and Change Manager, you will foster innovation and collaborate with diverse stakeholders including butnot limited to ACI Networks, health managers, clinicians, partners andconsumers to identify opportunities forimprovement and provide expert advice and guidance on initiatives that enhance health service delivery. In addition,the role will be required to lead and manage staff within the team.

Success in the role requires adaptability, expertise in project and change management methodologies, and the abilityto tailor these approaches for optimal impact, whilst managing multiple projects at the same time.

Remuneration:$141,974.00 - $169,151.00per annum excluding Superannuation

Hours Per Week:40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant health management experience,including project or change management qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in using and adapting project management methodologies to deliver results ina health setting e.g. Agile and Prince 2 orother
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying change management and adoption methodologiese.g.Proscior other methodology, or proven track record in delivering statewide and local change andadoption projects, frameworks, and initiatives within NSW Health.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the health system with proven ability to manage strategic projects or changeinitiative in the health system. This includes capability toinitiatemajor project communication activities tobuild awareness among program teams and key stakeholders, improve program understanding andpromote organisational goals,valuesandobjectives.
  • Desirable, clinical experience in NSWH
