How will you make an impact in this role?

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the GDI team in Partner Business Solutions. The PBS organization is a team of payment professionals responsible for the operational relationships with our GNS markets across the world.

The position is part of the PBS Global Deal Implementation (GDI) team, reporting to the Manager PBS GDI and will be responsible for supporting key strategic projects as well as supporting the regional relationship managers for the financial deployment of all GNS bank partner contracts, deal advisory and contract related control activities.

The incumbent will work closely with PBS Capabilities, Strategy and Planning team, GMNS Business, external Bank partners and multiple other internal teams including, but not limited to, Operations, Legal, Treasury, Technologies, and Controllership.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Support new strategic initiatives.
  • Support new business constructs and automation projects for PBS GDI.
  • Support standardisation of processes across the Global PBS GDI team and share best practices.
  • Implementation of the financial elements of all GNS Bank partner contracts, including new partner licenses, contractual amendments, and renewals.
  • Work closely with the Business and Finance teams to ensure that all financial terms can be supported by Network functionality and operational capabilities prior to contract signature.
  • Be the finance contact for external GNS Bank partners during implementations to ensure that all financial set-up and reporting requirements are understood and complied with.
  • Support strategies and controls to eliminate non-standard deal terms where possible including the development and delivery of training to help the GNS Business to understand the operational consequences of complication.
  • Ensure PBS GDI work tools are automated, robust, and operated in line with the company’s IT standards for sensitive data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong process and project management knowledge and experience, ideally gained in a financial environment
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Output oriented mindset and working well under pressure to execute at pace
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presenting to management and 3rd party business partners
  • Knowledge of the Card business would be preferable
  • Graduate or part-qualified CPA (or ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
