A leading NHS trust in Camden Town is seeking a Lead Trainer for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Hub. The role involves delivering training, ensuring quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders in the NHS to meet training targets. Candidates should have experience in NHS education and working with individuals with learning disabilities. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in the training of NHS services.
The post holder will support the Project Lead to establish the North East London Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Hub service delivery based at Homerton Healthcare. They will be a Lead Trainer for Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training both delivering training and leading on workstreams within the NEL Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Hub with the guidance of the Project Lead. They will work to ensure quality and an adequate number of training places are delivered. They will play a key role in ensuring collaboration across North East London to meet the training needs of all NHS services in the system and meet NHSE targets, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workstreams within the hub are set up for success. In collaboration with the Project Lead, they will ensure that the team and experts with lived experience are supported, operationally and pastorally, from recruitment through delivery and in debrief, collaborating with system and local Trust partners to achieve this. The post holder will have experience delivering education in the NHS, proficiency working with people with learning disabilities and autism, and a strong knowledge of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme.
