Project Administrator / Engineer – Ipswich

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Administrator / Engineer to join our client, a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business based in Ipswich. This is a hands‑on position supporting the delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects.
  • Support project managers in scheduling, documentation, reporting, and communication across teams.
  • Liaise with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality, helping ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help streamline project delivery.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in a project support or planning, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Practical engineering knowledge with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Proactive, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
