A leading academic institution in Manchester is seeking a Project Team Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and financial support. The role involves responding to enquiries, managing project files, and supporting the project team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a meticulous approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. The Henry Royce Institute is the UK’s national institute supporting advanced materials research and innovation. The project team is responsible for managing the Royce Industrial Collaborations Programme and a portfolio of multi‑disciplinary, high‑profile collaborative and rapidly evolving projects. This role will provide high‑quality, effective administrative and financial support to the project team. Based in Manchester, the post will work closely with project managers, operations, academics and technical staff across the Henry Royce Institute, as well as with external stakeholders including universities, research and technology organisations (RTOs) and industry.
The Project Team Administrator will deliver a customer‑oriented service in triaging and responding to external enquiries, collating information, distributing reports and maintaining project files and records. A meticulous, proactive approach and high level of self‑motivation are required.
